Wednesday Night Jam at the Brass Door

Former Homegrown Show guests Mark Wood, Steve Chilson, Don Akers, Wayne Smith jam it out at the Brass Door.  Stop by and say “hi” to Gary the owner on Wednesday nights and help support live music.  It’s an open Jam from 8 until midnight, but sometimes (like last night) it goes all the way to bar close.  Brass Door has music on Thursdays and Saturdays also!  Food is great and the lounge is a blast!

Spring is here and Honey Run Trail is superb!

Kirk Stites rides a Wheelie at Honey RunKirk Stites rides an impressive wheelie and nearly avoids crashing into the photographer.  We were out riding Honey Run Yesterday for St. Paddy’s Day.  The trail is in EXCELLENT condition.  So don’t hesitate to go ride.  There are a few wet spots but of course don’t let that keep you from riding, the majority is PERFECT.  I think we have some spring weather coming soon, so that might be an issue, but my initial report is go do it!

The Phat Tire Hillbillies were out in a large number for our usual Tuesday night ride.  To find our where our next club ride is just contact Dan at Oz Cycles 573-964-7000.  Enjoy the Ozarks!

Buddy Rich Vs. Animal Drum Battle

In my continuing battle against the squirrels, I thought that this video would be appropriate!

Baub Vs. The Squirrels

Well, I’ve declared war on the squirrels.  Recently (over the winter), squirrels have been cohapitating my attic. I believe they have opened up a squirrel roller disco, at least thats what it sounds like up there!  I purchased a daisy pellet gun and have declared war on the little buggers.  Well, it turns out those little guys are really fast and hard to hit.  I called in the experts this week that set up traps so we are in a wait and see pattern.  A friend suggested I build a squirrel catapult or launcher.  I’m not sure my neighbor would appreciate the flying vermin coming his direction.  We’ll see how it turns out.  Enjoy this squirrel video in the meantime.
